River Views & Boat Launch Access: Huntingdon Home

Holly's cottage is an incredible find- one of our favorite Air B+B's ever. She has created a lovely getaway along the Juniata River, near great fishing and activities, hikes and mountain bike trails. The cottage has a B+B feel to it with lots of nice touches and amenities, a huge selection of classic board games, comfy beds and a friendly feel. There were even eggs in the fridge along with other supplies : ) The entrance to the river is only 1/4 mile away and Garry at the Bait store next door is terrific. He gave us the equipment (literally- let us use what we needed for the few hours we were going to try out fishing) we needed and had helpful recommendations for the river. Holly was proactive and responsive right away and had lots of great recommendations herself. The porch wraps around and looks right down on the lazy river as it flows by. If you're looking for a gem near Huntingdon (or even near State College if you're willing to drive 45 minutes) we give it our highest rec!!!!

This cottage was located in a quiet beautiful area with breathtaking views of the river. You can sit and drink your morning coffee right on the porch and watch the wildlife at the river. There were so many games for all ages! Our host even had some things stocked in the kitchen for us to use for breakfast! She even let us check in a little earlier then check in time! There’s a bait shop right near the cottage that we stopped in to get bait and the owner was the sweetest guy and had everything you needed! Everything was just perfect! We will definitely be returning!!
